Who are we?

Turf Barbers is a lawn care service owned and operated by two life-long friends who grew up together in a small eastern Ohio town. After graduating high school, we went our separate ways in search of the education and careers we desired. Of course, we stayed in touch through the years, but never lived in the same area. Geographically together again, both had the idea of pursuing something they loved and thus, Turf Barbers was born. Now we can meet more folks in our communities and assist them with their lawn maintenance needs so they have more free time to hang out with family and friends, enjoying the things they love most.

A little about Bill..

I went off to college in West Virginia and then proceeded to have a successful career in the human resources field. While working as a human resources professional, I obtained my real estate license in 2014 and have been helping clients in the central Ohio area with all of their real estate needs. Another venture I started was the creation of the Fodor Fountain. This floating pond fountain was created as I had a beautiful pond on this property but was too frugal to spend the big bucks on a commercial fountain. It wasn’t long before friends, neighbors and passers by noticed the fountain and wanted them for their ponds. Now, I’m helping pond owners throughout Ohio beautify their ponds with a floating fountain at a fraction of the cost for a commercial fountain. Now residing in Dublin/Plain City area, I have returned to another passion of mine and I am coaching a youth travel baseball team.

A little about Bryan..

I headed to Columbus to start a career in the medical profession at the Ohio State Hospital. After a few years in this field, I decided that I wanted to be a barber and headed off to barber school. At the completion of barber school, I tried a few shops before eventually finding a great landing spot in Gahanna. I joined an established team of barbers and enjoyed the success of being a good, customer focused barber. It wasn’t long before my entrepreneurial instincts kicked in and I purchased the Gahanna Barber Shop. I’m now in my 16th year of being a successful small business owner. I have resided in Powell for 18 years and like Bill, I also coach a youth travel baseball team.

We both look forward to meeting neighbors in surrounding communities!
